    Welcome to the 2026 AYSO Section 8 EXPO!!

    We are excited to host this event at the Westin Hotel in Southfield, Michigan, and provide opportunities for training, certification, and continuing education for all volunteers, and great networking avenues to connect with other volunteers from surrounding Regions.

    A reminder that Name badges must be worn and visible to enter any EXPO event, including all meals and courses.

    Coach Instructor Course.  Prerequisites:
     
    • Coach Instructor: Certification to instruct, train, and certify coaches for the 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions
    • Prerequisites: 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U Coach certified with a minimum of one year as a 12U Coach.
    • Recommendation from your Regional or Area Coach Administrator
    • Introduction to Instruction
    • Completion of the online portion of the Coach Instructor through AYSOU before attending the in-person training.
    • Current on Safe Haven
    • CDC Concussion within the last three years
    • Current on Safe Sport
    • Approval of SCA
04) Advance Coach - Friday

    Advance Coach Course - Certification to coach at the 16U and 19U divisions (This is a full-day, eight-hour course). Prerequisites: 
     
    • 12U Coach certification for a minimum of one year
    • Intermediate Coach certification for a minimum of two years.
    • Completion of the online portion of Advanced Coach through AYSOU before attending the in-person training.
      • Current on Safe Haven
      • CDC Concussion within the last three years
      • Current on Safe Sport
